Survival Books was established in 1987 and by the mid-’90s was the leading publisher of books for expats and migrants planning to live, work, buy property and retire abroad. In 2007, we introduced a new Culture Wise series (culture, customs and business etiquette) to complement out ‘Buying a Home’ and ‘Living and Working’ series.
We are passionate about providing readers with the essential information necessary for a trouble-free life or property purchase abroad, while at the same time saving them time and money. Our philosophy has always been to provide the most accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date information as possible.
Our titles routinely contain up to twice as much information as most ‘similar’ books and are updated more frequently. Most of our books contain colour photographs and many are in full colour – we are currently converting all our books to colour. Survival Books also contain original cartoons, illustrations and colour maps.
